Hello, Rook No. 17-
ReplyDeleteTry as I might, I can't seem to figure out how to download one the clip art images on you site. Granted, my knowledge is limited. Please educate me if you can. I'm on a Mac. I'm interested in the very cute alphabet nursery prints. Thanks so much!
Hi Lynda C.,
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the nursery images in this post aren't properly linked. Sorry about that. Please try the original post here: http://www.rookno17.com/2010/10/annual-creative-captions-contest-with.html
I checked the links and made sure that they will take you to the full sized images. From there you should be able to do a right-mouse-click and 'save'. Let me know if you run in to any problems.
Happy New Year!
Jenn
I LOVE this clipart. I'm thinking the ABC clipart will be finding it's way into my sons playroom.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for posting this!
Absolutely charming! Thank you!

These are lovely, but I'm getting this for most of the ones uploaded onto google docs. :\

Hi Amber, thank you for letting me know that you were experiencing some trouble with Googledocs. I ran through my first ten printables in this post that are hosted with Googledocs and they came up just fine in Firefox. I'm wondering if the server was just temporarily down. It could also have been a browser conflict. Let me know if you continue to have trouble downloading, even with a different browser. I'd be happy to send you any of the sheets you need via email for free. Best, Jenn
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteYour printables are super cute! I am having some trouble downloading the Victorian bird graphics. When I click on the link to download them, it brings up your facebook page. I din't see any way to download of of there either. Do you have any ideas? Thanks!
Hi Ellie, I clicked the link and it took me to the correct page. Sounds like maybe there was a glitch in the browser. Here's the direct link to where you can download all of the Victorian bird graphics: http://www.rookno17.com/2012/10/free-vintage-graphics-birds-and-owl.html

ReplyDeleteapril
Hi April, thanks so much! My paternal grandmother was a bit of a packrat, but had very lovely taste in the things that she held on to. When I was young she would often share with me her Victorian scrapbooks and other keepsakes and ephemera. It was there that I developed an appreciation. I started collecting ephemera when I was in my early teens -- picking up vintage magazines, cards and postcards at garage sales and thrift shops. When my grandmother passed away, all of her ephemera was passed on to me. My husband's great aunt was quite a collector as well, and we inherited her collection of books, bridge tallies, cards and postcards a few years ago. I continue to pick up pieces now and again at antique stores and flea markets, but the family pieces are the ones that I treasure most.
