Beautiful ornaments! The magnolias were truly unique. I've been collecting ornaments since I was in high school. Every year when we open the boxes to decorate it's like seeing old friends. Thanks for the peek into the rookery!

It breathtakingly beautiful!

This year we had to decorate only the top half of the Christmas tree. Our toddler has go-go gadget arms!

Your tree looks so beautiful.

I love to go on Christmas Eve with my boys and hubs driving around looking at all the Christmas lights in our town, making snarky comments about the ugly lights and picking winners of the pretty light.

BEAUTIFUL!!! I <3 the Magnolias. When the girls get older I would love to have a more grown-up tree, but alas right now our tree is covered in shatterproof ornaments and garland.
I have all the ornaments that my parents gave each year and it brings back a bit of nostalgia when I pull them out of storage each year. I have continued this tradition with the girls - although I have switched to ornaments from Things Remembered so that they are a little more cohesive.

My ornaments that I would get each year as a kid. I still have a lot of them from when I was younger. Now each of my kids get a new ornament each year so when they move out they have a little collection of there own. Oh and the ornaments that my kids made. I love each and every one of them.

Your tree is GORGEOUS; I have no vintage or family ornaments :( That's what I get for having a Jewish mom. Our tree this year is very simple, it's very Charlie Brown, white lights/tinsel/glass icicles.

Wow- that is just the most old fashioned, quintessential Christmas tree! The music magnolias are amazing!! How did you make them?? So totally classy and unique!

Ummmm...I want your Music Paper Magnolia's. Those are freaking AWSOME!! Gorgeous Tree!! My Mama and I used to spend pre-Christmas shopping for gorgeous glass ornaments at The Wooden Nickel when it was still around. I LOVED that place!!! However, of all the beautiful blown glass ornaments we stocked up on over the years, I still to this day miss the giant bubble lights we had as a kid. :) THAT was Christmas!!

Is this a "themed" tree? Do you have others or is this the only one?

I've always wanted to do themed trees, but I always think about it too late. One day....I want to have a whole tree with just x-stitched Precious Moments ornaments, but I'd have to finish making more than three. ;-)
