The Vintage Fire Truck Cake Project -- Complete!

 

After 60+ hours, 18 pounds of rolled fondant, 10 pounds of gumpaste, 12 pounds of raspberries, and burning lots of "midnight oil", the fire truck and wedding cake are done!


It was an honor and a privilege to have the opportunity to make these cakes for such a beautiful wedding and such a lovely young couple!

    Did you read the cake wrecks blog? On Sunday they feature great cakes - not wrecks at all - you should really send this in to them. It is stunning!

  5. Burning the midnight oil really paid off in beautiful cakes. What could be sweeter other than a slice of delicious cake! I know that the lovely couple was quite excited! You never cease to amaze!
