I was introduced to this marvelous pan more than a year ago when I came across a blog that was giving one away. I didn't win the giveaway, but (with a nod to the power of blog advertising through giveaways), I immediately ordered a Large Family Size Kupcake Konz pan for myself. Since then I've used it more times than I can count for all types of whimsical cupcake cone creations.

Kupcake Konz pans come in many sizes. They have pans to hold large quantities, or just a small batch. They make pans to hold mini cones as well as the standard cones you find in your local grocery store. They even have a party pack that is perfect for a cupcake cone decorating party!

Here's what I love most about this pan:
1) It makes baking cupcake cones a cinch. Simply insert cones, dispense batter and bake!
2) It doubles as a carrier/server. Perfect! You don't have to worry about your creations tipping over during transport, or when being served.
3) It's easy to clean.
4) It's affordable.

ReplyDeleteThis pan is SO cool! And ingenious. I've always wanted to make cupcake cones, but haven't. This would get me into the kitchen to make some Santa hats to send to school with the kids for their holiday parties!

ReplyDeleteI would love to make some Christmas/Birthday tree inspired cupcake cones. My daughter is a Christmas Day baby so this would be such a fun treat for her to make!
ReplyDeleteLove your blog - just wandered over from a "Swell Noel." Great sugar ideas! I own a small, licensed bakery in my home and I would give anything to have the cone pan. Cannot believe I have never seen this. I have made cone cupcakes countless times and always hate the hassle.

ReplyDeleteChecked out the Kupcake Konz website. Gotta say I think the Family size regular cone pan is just what I need!
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower!! You asked what I would create?? This may sound a little petty...but here goes; Every year my younger sister and I compete to see which of us had the better cake for our children's birthday parties. This competition has never been acknowledged by either of us to the other and yet each birthday a grander cake or a fresh, new, unique cake alternative is presented. The last party was hers and she had a 3 tier princess castle covered in fondant that looked like something out of a magazine. We compliment each other but underneath the polite exterior we are devising how to out do the other at the next birthday. Sadly, I almost always lose. She is very creative and I'm not. If I were to win this I would create a cake (or rather 36 cakes) for my Son's birthday and accomplish two goals in one. Have a cool and unique birthday treat for my son, friends and family and kicking my sister's hiney!! Lol!!

Oh, so many choices - the obvious would be a cupcake that looks like an ice cream cone - thinking April Fools Day, here. Now, another thing I'd use them for is wheels. My little guy loves monster trucks and trains. I really don't like the idea of just using a cookie as a wheel. BUT... laying the cones on their sides, bottoms touching, would make both wheels and axles!
ReplyDeleteohmiss14 at yahoo dot com
I want the Poke-a-Do BONUS Kit! My husband would freak if I could do these with all strawberry AND THEN fill them with strawberry filling? Like a delicious heart attack. Thanks!
