During the Lunar New Year in China, envelopes containing cash or shiny new coins are given to unmarried people (particularly children).  The red symbolizes luck.  Who wouldn't feel lucky getting one of these adorable envelopes?

  3. I love seeing the Chinese new year crafts & traditions. I work with a team of people in Asia that we outsource with and they tell me about it. So interesting!

    It's also become one of my favorite holidays because I have less work when they're off :)
