If you love to cook or bake, chances are you appreciate quality kitchen tools.
Recently, my family and I had the opportunity to review the Stress Less line of kitchen tools from Trudeau. These ergonomically designed tools bring a new joy to cooking by reducing the stress often caused by traditional kitchen gadgets. The forward thinking line of products from Trudeau use a patented 4:1 gear ratio engineering that alleviates the strain often put on one's joints.
We created a delicious Sweet Potato Foccacia with Toasted Pine Nuts using the Trudeau Stress Less tools, and I'll be sharing the recipe on Rook No. 17 tomorrow!
You can enter to win the whole collection of Trudeau Stress Less Technologies Kitchen Tools featured in the videos below at the bottom of the post!
Introduction
Trudeau Stress Less Safety Can Opener
My girls love to help in the kitchen, but they've never been comfortable with using our can opener. After just a single demonstration, my 10-year old daughter was adept with the Trudeau Stress Less Can Opener. I liked not having to worry about her getting cut on sharp edges. She thought it was neat that she could put the lid back on after she opened the can!
Trudeau Stress Less Rotary Pizza Cutter
The pizza cutter worked perfectly for cutting through our sweet potato foccacia. The girls used it on quesadillas, which cut cleanly with one pass through. For the video, they were still in the habit of having to make multiple passes because of our old cutter. I love the way you can remove the blade to make cleaning easier!
Trudeau Stress Less Garlic Press
Rather than using two hands like you do with an ordinary garlic press, you use your body weight to press the garlic. Easy! My daughter used some tiny cloves of garlic in the video, but you can see from the photo below that bigger garlic cloves yield a bigger output from the garlic press.

Trudeau Stress Less Cheese Grater
We loved using this tool to grate Parmesan cheese right on to our pasta! It comes apart easily for cleaning too.
Trudeau Stress Less Easy Grind Salt & Pepper Mills
My husband likes his peppercorns lightly ground. I prefer mine pretty fine. The adjustable grind feature made it easy to grind our salt and pepper just the way we like it!
The Trudeau Stress Less kitchen tools are perfect for the family kitchen because of their ease of use and easy cleaning. The tools are ideal for those with arthritis or limited hand dexterity as well. Now if they could only make a Stress Less tool to open those impossible jar lids!

I like the Twist Jar Opener Set of 3 Blue/Green/Red.
ReplyDeleteOh! The tin opener! I could open tins, clean then and then use then as a gift wrap with the lids glued on, right? Then the tin is opened from the other end. I did a tute for this sometime last Christmas, using the discs from the end of frozen orange juice, but if I could re-use the lids from the tins, that would give me a bigger range of sizes. If I don't win one, I really need to buy one.
